We are Celebrating Super Duper Day 2018: April 30th
We’re excited to announce that Super Duper Day 2018 will take place next Monday, April 30, at all 11 Super Duper Burger locations.
In keeping with tradition, we’ll give away 100 burgers to the first 100 guests in line at each location on 4/30, beginning at 3 pm. In light of Mayor Ed Lee’s sudden passing this year, we’re dedicating this Super Duper Day to him. Lee was instrumental in creating our annual holiday as, in 2011, he proclaimed an official Super Duper Day in recognition of our generous community support.
Last year, in addition to giving away a total of 1,000 burgers, we delivered burgers to the staff at local charities and organizations across the Bay Area. This year, we’ve partnered with Supervisor London Breed to continue this effort in the community. We’ll deliver burgers to a number of community-based organizations as a way of remembering Mayor Ed Lee and the important work he did for San Francisco.
“I am thrilled to carry out this amazing event in honor of our late Mayor Ed Lee, who never turned down an opportunity to show appreciation for the community organizations that serve San Franciscans day in and day out. Super Duper Day is just a small way to bring smiles to people’s faces and to celebrate community over delicious food.” – London Breed
Super Duper partnered with Supervisor London Breed to identify the followingOrganizations:
- Taking it to the Streets
- Ella Hill Hutch Community Center
